After four long years, Micayla is finally in her forever home! She was so pathetic and mangey when we rescued her in 2013, at just about 5 months old. She’s a shy girl, and that’s been her kryptonite in finding someone to accept her and work with her. Well, she found a new dad (and brother!) in New Orleans who is a very patient man. Tomas works from home and plans to condition Micayla to run with him, when the weather is good. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home for her. Sometimes they wait a long time, but the home they need eventually comes. Happy tails, Micayla! 💜⚜️

Remember Dora? Her new mom says she is the best ever!!! We love it when we get these before and afters, and it is bittersweet when they leave the Purple Circle , but happy forevers are the fuel that keeps us going. You are gorgeous Dora nka Annie! Much thanks to her foster Dominique for getting her here!!
Little Glory Louise is doing so good for only being in our care for two weeks! She was so miserable when she was surrendered (pictures on the left), despite her owners best intentions and care. He was just unable to get her mange under control, so he signed her over to us. His other two dogs are both healthy and we now have a relationship with him and he knows we will help if anything like this ever happens again, before it gets so bad. Glory Louise’s head still has a way to go, but she’s sprouting new fur all over her little pink naked body! And her feet are no longer so swollen and red. She’s going to be absolutely gorgeous!
